Our focus since late 2006 has been in India, after we were invited to set up a computer training centre in a Delhi slum school. This led to an invitation by none other than the Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, to provide consultancy to set up ten similar centres in North West India! We also got involved with a new university in West Bengal to share thoughts on a suitable syllabus.
More recently, we have set up a training centre with a Burmese refugee community in India because we felt deeply moved by their need for empowerment through vocational education. This work continues, and you can read about it here.
Prior to India, we set up a computer training system in a Bible college in Thailand in 2006. In 2005 we raised funds for a computer training centre in Bolivia, a heart-touching initiative giving life-changing education to street children.
